DESIRE. ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is an interactive fiction reading platform that provides users with access to original novel content for reading and purchase. The Platform is operated by a business registered in Australia.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
All content sold on the Platform consists of digital products (electronic novel chapters). Upon purchase, you will receive immediate access to the purchased content.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and Lemon Squeezy. All transactions are subject to the security protections provided by the respective payment platforms. We do not store your credit card or payment details.
Due to the nature of digital products, all purchases are final and non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

Violation of these terms may result in your account being suspended or permanently terminated, without refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
This limitation does not apply to any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation and, failing that, submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
